At Old School Burgers, we want to make sure that you understand our menu perfectly so that you get exactly what you want, the way that you want it, when you come in.  Even though our menu only has Burgers, Fries, Milk Shakes and Fountain Drinks, there’s a lot more than meets the eye.  Okay, so it’s not rocket science, but still, a careful reading of this page will only make your experience with us better.

Burgers
The first step is to decide which size burger is right for you.  Since every one of our fresh burgers is cooked to order, we needed to come up with a way to handle different size appetites without asking anyone, even our hungriest customers, to wait more than a couple of minutes while we cooked their meal just for them.  We solved this through stacking, always a sound organizational principle.

For kids and not very hungry adults, we recommend our Single (one patty, one thick slice of American cheese) or our Hamburger (one patty, no cheese).  Adults with normal appetites and hungry kids (my 10-year old for example) will be happiest with our Double (two patties).   The Triple (three patties) is perfect for those of you who are really hungry and The Quad (4 patties) is best for those with industrial size appetites or teenage boys.  If you’re still not sure which size burger is right for you, our team will be happy to help you with a recommendation when you come in.

Now that you know which burger you want, let’s figure out how you want it.  Our burgers come with a thick slice of American cheese melted on each Certified Angus Beef patty (fits right in with our stacking principle), your choice of grilled or raw onions (we’ll ask which you prefer when you order), crisp lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, our special house spread (our own secret recipe) and are served on grilled buns.  If you don’t like some of this stuff, tell us and we’ll make your burger however you want it.  We can even take off the bun and wrap the burger in giant leaves of lettuce (Natural style) to help you count your carbs!

And if that is not enough, you can also tell us to Take It Up a Notch.  We do this by seasoning your burger with mustard, adding grilled onions, pickles, and extra spread.  The result might be a little messy, but you’ll find that the taste is habit forming.

Fries
We all know that burgers crave companionship and that their favorite things to be served with are heaping helpings of fries.  At Old School Burgers we have elevated fries to an art form.  Our process starts where it should, with real potatoes.  Throughout the day, you’ll see us hand-cutting these potatoes into fries.  We cook our potatoes in 100% pure vegetable oil without any of the artificial flavors that the other guys use.  Since we don’t start cooking your fries until after you’ve ordered them, you are guaranteed to get the freshest, best tasting fries around.  That’s why we don’t have heat lamps: you don’t need them if you cook every order fresh.

Purists will tell you that our fries taste so good that you don’t even need ketchup on them.  However, for those of you looking for a little something extra, we have created our Old School Fries.  We melt two of our thick slices of American cheese over the top of an order of fries and cover the cheese with our special house spread and grilled onions.  You’ll probably want to eat these with a fork (which we have in ample quantities) and you’ll probably order them again and again.

Milk Shakes
We wouldn’t be Old School Burgers without thick, real ice cream shakes.  Traditionalists to the core, our shakes come in three flavors: chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla.  Although we serve our shakes with straws, they are so thick that you might have to resort to using a spoon if you don’t have a lot of patience or you’re tight on time.

Root Beer Float
If you're looking for a change of pace, try our Root Beer Float with your meal.

Fountain Drinks
We are pleased to serve Pepsi fountain products and feature Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, Mug Root Beer, and Sierra Mist.  We also have lemonade and are proud to offer fresh brewed Paradise China Black Iced Tea.  We round out our drink selection with milk and coffee.

Varsity Meals
Now that we’ve covered the individual parts, let’s talk about how they come together to make a great meal.  For adults and hungry kids, we offer our Varsity Meals.

First up are our Single Meal and our Hamburger Meal.  These two meals are best if you’re just short of hungry and feature our Single Burger (one lean, freshly made patty of Certified Angus Beef and a thick slice of American cheese) or our Hamburger (one lean, freshly made patty of Certified Angus Beef without cheese). Both of these burgers come with grilled or raw onions (we’ll ask which you prefer), crisp lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, and our special house spread served on a toasted bun.  The Single Meal and the Hamburger Meal also comes with an order of our hand-cut fries and your choice of drink.

Second, is our most popular meal, our Double Meal.  This meal is the right size for the average adult or the really hungry kid (my 10-year old for example).  The Double Meal features our Double Burger: two lean, freshly made patties of beef, two thick slices of American cheese (one on each patty), grilled or raw onions (we’ll ask which you prefer), crisp lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, and our special house spread served on a toasted bun.  The Double Meal also comes with an order of our hand-cut fries and your choice of drink.

In the third spot is the first for our bigger eaters, our Triple Meal.  This meal is perfect for people who come in hungry!  The Triple Meal features our Triple Burger: three lean, freshly made patties of beef, three thick slices of American cheese (one on each patty), grilled or raw onions (we’ll ask which you prefer), crisp lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, and our special house spread served on a toasted bun.  The Triple Meal also comes with an order of our hand-cut fries and your choice of drink.

Last, for our biggest eaters, is The Quad.  The people you see eating this meal are professionals (or teenage boys). Do not try this at home!  The Quad Meal features our Quad Burger: four lean, freshly made patties of beef, four thick slices of American cheese (one on each patty), grilled or raw onions (we’ll ask which you prefer), crisp lettuce, freshly sliced tomatoes, and our special house spread served on a toasted bun.  The Quad Meal also comes with an order of our hand-cut fries and your choice of drink.

With any of our meals, you can upgrade larger Drinks, Shakes, or Old School Fries for a few cents extra.  We can also Take It Up a Notch by seasoning your burger with mustard, adding grilled onions, pickles, and extra spread, or make any meal Natural style by taking off the bun and wrapping the burger in lettuce leaves.

Rookie Meals
For kids 11 and under, we offer our Rookie Meals.  We lead off with the Single Kid’s Meal. Our Single Kid’s Burger features a cheeseburger: one lean, freshly made patty of beef and a thick slice of American cheese, served on a toasted bun.  The Single Kid’s Meal also comes with a kid-sized order of our hand-cut fries and a kid-sized Fountain Drink.

The Hamburger Kid’s Meal is for the kids who like hamburgers, not cheeseburgers.  The burger comes with one lean, freshly made patty of beef served on a toasted bun.  The Hamburger Kid’s Meal also comes with a kid-sized order of our hand-cut fries and a kid-sized Fountain Drink.

The Grilled Cheese Kid’s Meal is for kids who like grilled cheese sandwiches.  We grill two thick slices of American cheese and serve them on a toasted bun.  The Grilled Cheese Kid’s Meal also comes with a kid-sized order of our hand-cut fries and a kid-sized Fountain Drink.

We can add any or all of our other ingredients (ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, and spread) to the burgers in our Rookie Meals.  Just tell us what will make your kids happy and we’ll get it done.
